Whilest rocking out to the Beatles' Let It Be (nope, I can't make this shit up) gunshots ring out from next door. Aussie started trying to herd us all in to the same room shortly after.
We have our alarm turned on now, even though everyone is fully awake. Have I mentioned that I live in a suburb filled with old houses and old people, less than 2000 feet away from an elementary school and less than 50 feet away from what is essentially a government-operated group-home?
