Looks like Seattle is about to get a whole lot more emo.
I was wondering if they were going to mention a, "soothing soundtrack of Dashboard Confessional and The Promise Ring."
That was, until, I read this:
After the final exercise -- hugging as many people as possible in two minutes, to the theme from "Rocky" -- eighth-grader Sydney Simon said of Challenge Day, "It changed me. I feel more compassionate and loving toward everybody. Differences don't matter so much anymore."
Now, I don't know about you, but the theme from Rocky makes me want to do a great many things, but one of them is NOT hugging a bunch of people, and accepting idiots as "humans too."
Oh, the insanity.
