Writing exam preparation - editor

So, I've booked my IELTS exam for June, 7. Moreover I'm going to register for the TOEFL exam as far as I can (I think I'll register for the first days of July - about a month after IELTS). I've already registered for GRE General for 7th of October. And I defenitely need to prepare hard for these exams. One of the most important point for me - writing the essays. I can't manage doing it well enough to get high score. So I decided to write as much essays as I can till exam dates.
Luckily, there are official pools of topics for TOEFL Writing question #2 and GRE questions (analize an argument and analize an issue) at ETS web-site. There is an average of 170 topics in every list.
Although it isn't a problem to get a text editor (notepad or MS Word or something alike), I couldn't find any convenient editor for this purpose. Such text editor is desired to have a word counter and a timer. One can find statistics about text such as word count after some exploring, but this is obviously uncomfortable, because one should check the word count of it's essay (as far as I know it's a very important charachteristic of a written work). Also there is a system time at Windows and many on-line timers. But it is not comfortable to write an essay and sometimes switch windows to watch time remained or number of words in text. So I decided to make my own editor. Although it has not some important features like auto-save, managing old files and tracking topics user already had written about, it could be quite comfortable for training purpose. User simply should chose type of question and press "Start" button. Then some random topic appears and timer starts counting down 30 minutes. All topics are from official sources, this means they could appear in real exam situation.

You can find this little program here.

If I have enough time I'll add some useful features like saving and managing files, font size changing and checking wether topic is already done.
