What's Going On?

I just watched a movie...  A explication of the means of control in three parts, God, Government, & Economics.

The first part is a very good unraveling of the Jesus Myth.  The second is a more controversial analysis of the 9/11 incident.  The third part becomes very difficult to accept, because if true, we are all truly fuckered.

ZeitGeist - Spirit of the Aeon

Take a couple hours and watch this please.  Allow yourself to doubt.  It's healthy.

This quote comes to mind:  "Throughout human history, as our species has faced the frightening, terrorizing fact that we do not know who we are, or where we are going in this ocean of chaos, it has been the authorities - the political, the religious, the educational authorities - who attempted to comfort us by giving us order, rules, regulations, informing - forming in our minds - their view of reality. To think for yourself you must question authority and learn how to put yourself in a state of vulnerable open-mindedness, chaotic, confused vulnerability to inform yourself. Think for yourself.  Question authority."  ~Dr. Timothy Leary

If you want to know what it's about before watching it, consider that the movie ends with this from Bill Hicks, "The world is like a ride in an amusement park. And when you choose to go on it, you think it's real because that's how powerful our minds are. And the ride goes up and down and round and round. It has thrills and chills and it's very brightly coloured and it's very loud and it's fun, for a while. Some people have been on the ride for a long time and they begin to question, is this real, or is this just a ride? And other people have remembered, and they come back to us, they say, "Hey - don't worry, don't be afraid, ever, because, this is just a ride." ... And we... we kill those people."
