So, I think I can make the wedding work at what should be an amazing location for me and George.
The San Francisco Film Centre. What do you think? It's at the presidio, has a view from the front of the golden gate bridge, to tie that in nicely. Of course, the name is great, and ties in to my interests, and George's interests. I love the simplicity of the space, and I hope I can enlist some help from friends to make it even more special. I can still pick my caterers, which I hope to find a good one for the event.
I was looking very seriously at the
Marine's Memorial Club in SF. It's gorgeous, ostentatious, and in the heart of San Francisco, but the more I looked at it, it just wasn't me. The military element may be tied to George and my family, but really, it's not either one of us.
There are 100 things I want to do with this event. Then I remember budgets, and I get worried. I think about the few things I refuse to sacrifice. Family and friends. A few choice flowers flown in from Hawaii. Having some decent photos to remember what actually happened. I guess I need to just make sure some money is put aside, and that it will cover the main costs I am worried about. Hopefully, it will allow George and I to actually get the things we really want done, and can make the event not only special for us, but memorable for others. After all, I do want this as a business at some point.
