hmm, all right. i dont really have time for xanga. at all. but bryan told me to update, so.. yeah.
school is pretty good. not as confusing as i thought it was going to be.. a lot more laid back.. a lot more people.. and have already made some fantastic friends. i love it. the work load really isn't too bad either.. so if it stays like this all year, it's going to be smooth sailing towards graduation!
band = my life at the moment. first football game was last friday, pickerington vs. reynoldsburg. i really dont even need to tell you guys who won.. but yeah, we creamed them. majorly. (and reynoldsburg's drumline sucked, by the way). this friday was home against canal.. so now the TIGERS are 2-0. johnny + blaine and a few other freshman from JV got to play in the varsity game.. which is awesome! (JV is also undefeated)... hmm. canal's band was small.. and we hosted miami's band. 3 way drum clinic during 4th quarter was pretty cool.. exercises suck? yes? so do college bands that use stands.. well. never mind. and girl tenor count is still amounting to zero, which kinda makes me angry. i'm going to go give a hug to the first tenor girl i see.
drum-a-thon today. wasn't too bad.. it was long though. 9 hours? yeaaaaaah. made a whole bunch of money.. played an ironhorse happy birthday at like 60.. saw some crazy windshield wipers .. a alive/dead butterfly artwork along with some grease artwork.. and a car cried. plus, we've got one sunburnt drumline. haha sounds good? i dont know, it was pretty fun. better than youd think anyway... well, kinda.
homecoming is coming up. north's is september.. 17th, i believe.. (theme is hollywood).. and then ours is october the 8th. 1920's, gals and guys. it should be pretty fun. grab (or in most cases, find) a date, and go!
