Exploring the ties

Instead of finishing my Magic Town lots - which I really should do, I'm such a slowpoke - I got this idea yesterday of remaking the Sims 1 base game hood for Sims 2. I already found this marvelous terrain + lots, but I want to build the lots myself. I also want to make the families who lived in the houses there and possibly make up a story about it.

There are several ties between Pleasantview and the sims 1 neighbourhood, not only the obvious Goths, Burbs, Michael Bachelor the time traveler and the Pleasants, but also the fact there is a cat lady, named Ginia who was introduced in Unleashed. A cat lady who's surname is Kat - and, she owns even more cats than Tara kat does. This Sims 1 lady could be her grandmother. Also, my personal headcanon says that Olive Specter lived here when she was young and was a frequent visitor of Magic Town.

Then there's also Gunther Goth. We learnt he lived in Sunset Valley when the Sims 3 came out and we also know he's the father of Mortimer Goth living in the main neighbourhood. This is a very interesting fact because Gunther Goth was the founder of Sims 1's Old Town.  There are a lot of what's and why's and I want to discover what else is connected.

The fact that Bella Goth and Kaylynn Langerak were both children in the Sims 3, and the fact that Bella was already an adult in the Sims 1 while Daniel Pleasant was still a child, makes me wonder how much older Kaylynn is than Daniel. Suddenly their relationship in the Sims 2 becomes a lot more .. interesting.

I want a Sims history book.

sims: story ideas, sims: talk, sims 1, sims 3, sims: random, sims 2
