Ft. Hood and Ruby's
So, I'm cat sitting for my friend Amberlie while she's visiting her boyfriend at Ft. Jackson and I've been watching CNN all morning. Apparently, a soldier in Ft. Hood died doing land navigation. I'm amazed! I SUCK at land navigation but seriously? Even I can shoot a panic azsmith and get my ass back to a rally point. It just ain't that tough. There has got to be more to this than what's being reported.
In other, more light-hearted, news. Work at Ruby's last night was successful. I made $30 in two hours all thanks to a couple who brought in three of there children. Apparently, the couple owns a resturant in York, ME (approx. 10 minutes north of Portsmouth) and they offered me a job there because they thought I was, "beautiful and a joy to have as a server." A nice ego boost as there are some fuck-wits who I work with who make me feel like a retard for not knowing where the extra stock of sugar packets and straws are located.
