Do Airplanes Float?

The Germany countdown is really beginning. I leave February 4th, and I feel like I have a million things to do before I go. I want to get my papers completed for work; I've worked for three months now and haven't gotten all of my paper work in yet. Ideally I'll have my application to substitute teach in by February 3rd, since that's the date of the school board meeting. But I'm waiting for my last clearance and that is really out of my control. I need to get my car inspected, and it'd be nice if I could have the venue set for Heather's bridal shower (a whole story in and of itself) before I leave the country.

I talked to Probst today, and she's already planning things we'll do. She said we're definitely going to do Munich, Paris, Auschwitz, and Amsterdam. Honestly, I'm really excited for Poland, because I'm hoping we stop in Krakow while there. We'll take a train through the Czech Republic. From what I've heard, European trains actually suck. Still, I'm excited to see the scenery of another country roll by, if for no other reason than for the novelty. We're going to Munich to see the Hofbrauhaus, among other things. I'm so fucking excited, it's almost ridiculous. Oh, and I hope to see Brussels as well--I'm landing there, after all. And I'm so excited to see Probst. I miss her.

Let's not forget that I'm terrified to fly. Good thing I got the doctor to give me some Ativan. Because I really don't like to fly. The thought of it makes me uncomfortable. On the upside, it is the red-eye, so I should at least be tired.

Now I'm tired, so I'm going to bed. Not a very interesting entry really, but still. It's good enough for me, and that's what matters.

Quote of the day: He seriously had shit in his hand...
