Aha! I have made my triumphant return back to the LJ world. Sorry for my absence everyone... I was having some trouble with my account so that was keeping me from updating.
SO... how can I catch you all up to speed on what's been up with me in the least boring way possible?
As you know, I've been working on this show, Once Upon a Mattress. I'm thoroughly enjoying it, though it's made me a little stressed lately, because I just have a LOT of work to do with it, on top of my usual work load. So learning how to balance everything has been a bit of a bad nightmare. But I'm getting there... :p I'm REALLY starting to get to know the rest of the cast... and they're all real sweeties. I was very nervous about starting the show, because since they're all high schoolers, they may not be the most "welcoming" bunch. But they've been great, and I feel very at home. Yay! :)
Last night we went to my bro David's basketball game... it was his last one (other than a tournament next week). I LOVE HIS GAMES!!! Ahh!! They're such a blast. I scream, and scream, and scream, and scream and SCREAM at them!! Haha. Last night we surprised Dave with three friends and an entire family from church coming... he was so excited! :p I think it's cool when friends come to support Dave at games. And it makes for so much more fun, too!! They won the game, which was SO SO SO happy. Afterwards, we went out for ice cream at DQ, and then went back to Frank & Tammy's and watched Cinderella Man. For any of you who haven't seen it, PLEASE WATCH THIS MOVIE. It is amazing. It will really make you thankful what you have.
So around 12:30 am we headed home from the movie (we live about 30 seconds from Frank & Tammy). We had to take Mary, Cax and Jimmy home first... so we get down to their road and realize there's a car completely engulfed in flames (flames were about 15 feet high!!). AHH!! It was crazy. So naturally, we couldn't get the kids home. So they ended up coming and chillin at our house for a little while (which was cool). The wierd thing about the whole situation was, later, I found out the car belonged to the lady I babysit for up the street!! Thankfully she was OK. But it was scary.
So there's a little update on what's been up with me.... Hope you all are doing well. I need to go read my friends page and catch up!! I feel so behind!!!
