How different is du between Darwin and um... GNU coreutils 5.93?

I'm getting slightly different numbers between machines, and wondering if I should be worried. At least so far, uncompressed the files are all the same size, so that's good. But I'm not uncompressing on both machines just to check!

Block sizes are totally different, I used du -k.
