Worst month EVER!
I look back on things and I honestly cannot think of a month where more stuff has gone wrong for me in my entire life.
The month started off with Pam's mom borrowing $300 because she was unable to pay her rent. Although I hate lending money to Pam's mom, it is afterall, her mom. So we lend her the money.
Then my glasses broke. I was'nt rough on them, I did'nt bang them anywhere, they simply snapped while they were on my face. A sudden unexpected expense but we were good and had it covered. $515 later and I have new glasses.
Pam's mom then paid us back but immediately asked us if she could borrow $400 for some dental work. Ouch. So much for getting our money back. So Pam decides to lend her the money.
Shortly after, one of the fillings in my mouth fall out and the tooth chips off a huge chunk. Shit... Now it looks like the dental work could cost somewhere between $1000-$2000 depending on what needs to be done. I will be finding out more tonight when I go to the dentist. We simply dont have that kind of money and my insurance blows ass.
Last night Pam and I had an argument over money. She wants me to forget about her birthday entirely this year because we cant afford it. I plan on making an effort to do something not overly expensive but still something nice for her but she simply did'nt want any part in it. That argument did not end well...
So now I'm hanging in suspence over the costs of the dental work, Pam's mom still has not paid back the money she owes us, and Pam wants me to be a cheapskate for her birthday even though I know I oculd have the money I need for her birthday. Sometimes I wonder where Pam would be if she had settled for a better guy in high school... It has been nearly 10 months since the last good thing happened to us. If there is a God there, I think I might be his urinal...
