So I recently borrowed the Roruni Kenshin series on DVD from Chris and I started watching it yesterday. After seeing the movie (which was amazing) I must say that so far the show sucks BALLS ( Read more... )

Its just that Kenshin goes from one extreme to the other. I'm not particularly interrested in watching an anime where the character spends 2 1/2 minutes of an episode trying to decide what to make for breakfast and in the end everyone decides to go eat at the "Beef Hot-Pot Restaurant". Then of course we get to watch him eat at the restaurant...

Just so you know, "oro" is a word in Japanese.

"As used by Shimura and Watsuki [meaning specifically in the context of Roruni Kenshin], "oro" expresses surprise or dismay, based on the similar exclamation "ara" (generally considered feminine)." (Wikipedia)

A word that expresses surprise or dismay... It's like our version of "wow"...

I'm thinking about all the times Kenshin says "Oro" in the show and replacing it with "wow"... Kenshin may have been dropped on his head as a child...
