tea party, ramblings on halloween 2011, complaints
this girl i know is on fb and under her political opinions area she has the tea party listed, which is fine :p haha but this is the description that the tea party has on fb:

Conservitive. fire our current government, all parties and hire normal down to earth people who want to do whats best for the USofA people.
i counted 6, maybe 7 spelling/gramatical errors in those two sentences... aaand this supports my idea that the tea party is a marketing plan to sell the republican party to ignorant people. i tell ya with politics my interest really goes up and down. this current attack that republicans have been making on school teachers has actually kind of stressed me out. the republicans appeal to the poor through religion and social topics such as gay marriage, gun rights and abortion. though they do very little to ever help the poor. the idea must be that republicans are trying to appeal to the very poor and very rich at the same time. the poor are uneducated so what do they care about education funding and the rich would probably use private schools anyway so maybe they don't care either... in any event, republicans are not working with the best interestes of educated people in mind and this is retarded.
i am really looking forward to halloween this year :D i guess it's still what 7 months away or whatever, but meh i don't care. i'm just really really looking forward to it. actually in recent years i've liked halloween more and more but NOW, now that i've been going out to social dances like swing, tango and salsa, halloween is just this exploding potential for awesome fun xD
btw halloween costumes for guys are fucking horrible for the most part. they are usually kind of stupid and make the guy look like some kind of idiot. ok look at it this way: a normal looking girl will look amazing in 90% of all girl costumes and a normal looking guy will look amazing in 10% of all costumes. but i have a cure for this; at least for myself. i've been thinking that the goal should be to have a different costume for every night that i go out for halloween events or at least as many different costumes as possible. this shouldn't be too hard as each year i add a new costume and just keep the old ones together so they can be reused. this means that i should improve my old costumes a little each year, but still stick with the good ones that i like, since there aren't really a lot of choices out there for things for me to be (that i actually want to be)
ok so a costume that is easy and that i REALLY want to do is the latin singer pitbull :) it would be soo much fun to wear this costume out to a salsa club, or even to mill ave.
my old stand by costume that i've worn for a few years in a row now is indiana jones. this year coming up i want to get a better whip and maybe i'll get the leather jacket because i've always just worn the shirt without a jacket.
my huge project last year was my batman costume with fully functional utility belt. i'm going to redo that this year but i found better clothes to use for the pants and shirt and i'll make a better cape and i also found these cool different gloves and i'll use a different mask. this is a costume that i could easily improve on every year if i wanted to.
i also have a zorro costume that i think i'm going to add some things to. i want to get different pants and i'll probably pick up some swashbuckler style boots.
the other new idea that i had was to make a robin hood costume.. with a real bow etc...
i would love to make a costume of the god ares or some other greek warrior or character but the armor is too expensive and not that good online. i'll save this idea for the next time i go to greece or something. i really need to try this type of stuff on first instead of buying it mail order.
oh and i love the spirit!!! i could always be him again :D
so the theme for most of my halloween ideas is super heroes... big surprise :p but i look so much better as a super hero than in a goofy store bought costume.
so there are two types of complaining that i have noticed lately. one type is complaining because you want to improve something: hey these work conditions suck!! come help!
the other type of complaining is because you are miserable: arizona sucks, i wish i was back in new york but it is too cold there.
