Howard's very interesting list
Things that I need to have done by Monday morning:
1) Get my money changed into Euros for the trip to Germany.
2) On the basis of what one of my colleagues (who’s just been over there) told me today: buy more warm clothes. Apparently it’s still -10°C there, contrary to the bollocks they’re displaying on the BBC weather page.
3) Burn CD-ROMs to take over there for Mike S and _sarnandsynara_, because clearly they want to see boring films about my everyday life and what I look like when I’m dressed up as a zombie.
4) Pack.
5) Visit my parents.
6) I’ve finished my illustrations for the novel and have scanned them, but still need to Photoshop everything to make it look less scruffy.
7) Print everything (several hundred pages in all), collate it and take it to Staples to get duplicates made.
8) My cough from hell has returned. Again - it's now come back to life more times than Jason Voorhees. This isn’t an actionable item but I thought I’d put it in the list anyway to make a nice, round number of items.
9) Meet random_goth and Jen on Saturday to celebrate Jen’s birthday.
10) Get some sleep.
[Update] As this is the first lunchbreak in weeks when I've not been writing/editing/drawing something, I just wandered down Canon Street and found the pub where I saw in the new year and had a sneaky half pint. How about that! The place does exist and I didn't hallucinate the whole night. The crowd on a weekday lunchtime looks a bit different though...
