Two Events for the Price of One Post

EVENT 1 (Dream Event)

*It's a peaceful, beautiful day in the Duel Monster spirit world. In a field of flowers, Ruka is sat playing with a bunch of smaller Duel Spirits, Kuribon included, as Ancient Fairy Dragon watches over them happily. It seemed like nothing could ruin such a happy day

"Wh...what the heck happened here...!?"

Rua looks over the desolate void that used to be the Spirit World; although he may not know what it used to be, he can at least tell that something seriously horrible and unnatural happened to it. He seems captivated by it for a good moment or two before he notices...

"Ruka!" He runs to her, his worry immediately evident in his voice. "Ruka! Ruka, what's going on!?"

*Ruka quickly looks up when she hears Rua's voice calling out to her. Once he reaches her, tears just stream down her face as she clings onto him*

Rua! I couldn't help them... I couldn't...

Rua lets out an 'oof' when Ruka grabs him. He looks around in horror.

"C-couldn't help them...? Who!? Ruka, what happened?!"

The spirits! There was this dark shadow, it destroyed everything! It happened so fast...

Rua looks around, his horror becoming more evident.

"Th...this is the spirit's world!?"

...it was.
I don't know what to do, Rua! I promised I'd protect their world and I couldn't do anything!

Rua is at a loss for a minute before he catches himself, realizing he should probably try to help rather than just stand there.

"I...I'm sure we can fix it! We just have to...uh..." He thinks. "...m-maybe Ancient Fairy Dragon can fix it?"

*Ruka shakes her head*

She's gone... they're all gone.

Rua shakes Ruka slightly.

"R-ruka, they can't be all gone! I know you wouldn't let something like that happen!" His forcefulness belays his nervousness as he takes a step back. He then grabs Ruka's hand tightly.

"C'mon, let's...let's look around. I'm sure we can find someone!"

O-okay...

*Ruka nods slightly, still unsure if they'll really find someone, but somehow, seeing Rua as determined as he was gave her a little hope and the strength to start moving*

And Rua leads Ruka off. He really has absolutely no idea where he's going, or what to expect, but he's at the least trying to put a strong front on for Ruka.

Just the same, he looks around nervously every so often for any signs of life.

*Ruka looks around with her brother, but everything still seems to be lifeless and un-moving. No grass, no spirits and all the trees are bare. There is absolutly no sound in the air either, no wind... not even a breeze. It all seems very un-natural.*

Still nothing...
