Things have changed a bit since I started this journal. God has spoken many things in the time since and has done many great things in me, praise His Name. This journal exists because I need an outlet for saying what I hear the Lord speaking and, hopefully, to be an encouragement to anyone who reads it.
The name of this journal was picked at random some time ago, however I think it had a prophetic significance. Psalm 29:8 says "The voice of the Lord rocks of the desert (or shakes the wilderness)" I believe in this hour is speaking of the sons and daughters of God coming out of the wilderness. He is yet again shaking everything that can be shaken, then when all the things that cause spot or blemish are off of His bride she will come out of the wilderness, leaning on her Beloved. Imagine if you will Ezekiel 37. "What has been barren will be no longer, and what has been dead will be raised to life for I am the Lord and I will do it." God is getting ready to "rock the wilderness, will you be shaken or will every vile thing be shaken off and will you stand?
It has been awhile since I started this thing and my life with the Lord has changed drastically since then. I know it is going to continue because God is raising sons to glory and I am one of them. Here's a passage from a book I'm reading on the life of a man named Bill Britton, whose writings you can read at
this website. It elaborates on the whole issue of the "sonship message," which the Lord has been speaking and is bringing to pass in this hour.
Do you know what they are preaching in Detroit? They are saying that we are now children of God, but that we are being brought up to the stature of a full grown son, as it says in Galations 4. They say that the young son has the nature of the Father from birth, but is not allowed the full privileges that come with sonship, until he reaches full age and becomes a partner with the Father. This is what happened to Jesus at the River Jordan when the Father spoke and said: "This is my Son in whom I AM well pleased." This was His 'adoption' mentioned in Gal. 4:5. So these mature sons of God will take their place on the throne of God, and do the works of Jesus with the full authority of the Spirit. Now what do you think of that?
God is doing wonderful things in this hour, which eye has not seen, nor has ear heard, nor has entered into the mind of man. What we've known, even the good things, are not going to be able to show us this. We need to cast ourselves off into what God is doing in this hour, which He is creating a new wineskin for. Hope this helps
