God is a God of the Impossible
The Lord is wanting to remind us that, "I AM the God who raises the dead and causes women long past childbearing to bear children. What do you see that is beyond hope, is it too much for Me? What dreams do you have that I have given you, am I not faithful to fulfill what I have spoken? Fear not for I AM with you, take heart for My right arm is shortened so that it cannot save."
The Lord wants to drive out the scoffer in us (2 Peter 3:1-13) who would seek to say that the Lord is not moving or that we must take care of all these things first. Jesus calls us to leave all and follow Him and He makes no exceptions. He wouldn't even let a guy go and bury his father and makes no provision for us to have things our way. If we would be His disciples we must deny ourselves, take up our cross and follow Him. This seems like a hard message, which it is for the way is narrow which leads to life. However, you know the joy set before you because God has shown it to you, the things which you desire to see done.
Perhaps once you were going that way but things just kinda died down and the vision seems to have been buried. Do not mourn the loss but endure the shame of knowing that He is able to restore what He destroys. Don't be afraid of your adversaries but rejoice in the Lord for God will be victorious. Even if like Mary you have to watch that which you have begun be lifted up and die on a cross, while everyone sits around and mocks and scoffs at you, hold onto that love for the Lord. Even if you get thrown into prison praise Him for in the midnight hour He will bring deliverance.
It's time we took a stand in the Lord and stood firm in spite of all opposition and allow Him to bring deliverance. Not like Abram who took Hagar to try and fulfill the promises of God on His own terms, but like Abraham who believed God and it was accounted to Him for righteousness. Even if we mess up God is able to fulfill His promises for His purposes are not for our benefit but for the benefit of all men. You are at the center of something far bigger than you, take heart and believe.
