Next Generation Gaming?

So I got my XBOX 360 yesterday. Hooked it up, put in Project Gotham Racing(it came with the bundle)... gave it a whirl. High Res... nice... gameplay... standard. Kinda... boring actually. Next game in bundle... Call of Duty 2. Popped the game in and ... huh? Disc Reading... disc reading ... (wow, this game must take up a lot resources) ... 5 minutes later... disc reading... Oh wait! There it goes!! Black screen... ok... (5 more minutes pass) ... what the hell?! Reboot. Xbox Logo sequence begins only to be abruptly cut short by an ERROR screen! Error 65, please contact xbox customer service. Reboot. Same. Reboot. Same. Reboot. Same. Bangs head uncontrollably against plasma TV. Anger.... subsiding... ok... give it time... reboot. Xbox logo sequences finishes!! Hope!! Ok, try a new game... Perfect Dark Zero. Pops it in. Disc reading... reading... reading... MOTHERFU-... Reboot. Error 65, please contact xbox customer service. FUCK. Reboot. Same. Reboot. Same. Ok, give it time... new game. Condemned. Disc reading... sonofa-- ARGH!!!! disc reading... disc reading... patience dwindling... ARGGGGGH!!!! Ok... try again. Project Gotham racing. SUCCESS!! Game booted!! Ok, pop out disc and put Condemned in. SUCCESS!! SEGA LOGO!! OK!!! GOOD TO GO!!! Start playing. Cannot create save data. Data is corrupt. Whatever. Don't need to save. Plays game. Wow... nice graphics... interesting... whoa...cool lighting and effects. Walks into a dark room where suddenly the walls disappear and I'm walking in a black hole. hm... is this part of the game? Game freezes. FUCK!!!! Reboot. Error 65, please contact xbox customer service. FUCK. This continues on til 2am...

If this lj entry was annoying and frustrating to read, then now you know how I feel about next generation gaming so far. -_-;

I think I'll stick to my DS for a while.
