Summary: Sometimes things are just impossible. And Hyukjae experiences it during his junior year.
Hyukjae had seen him around the school before. Once, or twice, he didn’t remember. Or maybe three times, since he remembered the time when the man had appeared in his class as a substitute. His first impression of him was….. not very profound, he could say. An average height, dressed in formal attire, a shirt, tie, and dress pants, he possessed an intellectual aura. Hyukjae had thought he looked fairly normal, but there was some distinct feature on him somewhere that made him look pleasing to the eye. And that was about it.
But now, every time Hyukjae thought of him, he’d start blushing furiously, his heart thumping fast in his chest, his friends asking him if he felt feverish. He didn’t know why he was attracted to the man. He’d spent half of his school life thinking why, but to no avail. Hyukjae was getting more frustrated each day, due to gnawing feelings of guilt and shame invading him each time he saw or thought of him. Avoiding the man was impossible at the moment since he had to see him everyday. There was no way out, no way out of the mess he was in.
Why, you ask? Why was it so bad that Hyukjae felt this way? It was bad enough that he was captivated by a person of the same gender. But that wasn’t the worst part.
He was in love with Lee Donghae, a grown man. Who had a girlfriend. Who was a freaking decade older. Who……. fatefully, was his biology teacher this year.
