(no subject)
(before praetorianguard points and laughs at me for being unable to not talk about Franz Ferdinand, I'd like to point out that I'm coming off a year of having had absolutely nothing to say about them besides, "wow, I wish maternity leave was over already." and this is actually something cool, I swear!)
after approximately a million years, the second issue of the friggin' Franz fan club magazine showed up today! and guess who/whose pictures was/were in it? miiiiiiine!
I'd actually sorta written off the likelihood of my pictures from last spring's tour being in the new issue as it's been over a year since I sent them to Mark, but there they are, seven of them, and I have a credit on the inner cover, and yay! I'd also completely forgotten that either nevoreiel or I had sent in our picture with Alex and the scrapbook (I hear you all sniggering at me), but it's one of the centerfold fan pictures, along with lightstarangel and ursamajr with Alex in Boston '05, and im_not_indie with Nick (I think it's after the Fuse shoot?).
let me flail a tiny bit more: photo credit!!
which might make for decent leverage if, of course, I had the energy to shoot concerts anymore.
(while I'm making a fool of myself, I might as well mention the impending small NYC show a few weeks from now, so you can expect one more burst of incredible stupidity before I stfu for the remainder of the summer. I can make no promises for the fall, because when there is Franz within 300 miles of NYC, there is also me, and usually at least one friend and/or my mom, acting like absolute fools.)
I think I'll be making a separate post about ~*~important life things~*~ in the not-so-distant future. I also think I dragged NOLA weather back with me (less the insane AC) because it was 90° today, and it made me happy. I am ready for summer now, even though it inevitably means four months of icky garbage stank. summer means I can wear my most favorite ill-fitting dress ever.
uh. what does one do in Philly besides go to concerts? (and geocache.) 'cause that's all I've been there to do.
