knitting news!
Last day of work for the year and we get to leave three hours early. There is literally nothing happening. I decided to upgrade the Movable Type on atypically.net to 3.14, botched that, and have now done a fresh install. In three hours. Yay!
The reason I'm bothering with that isn't 'cause I'm gonna go back to doing my general blogging elsewhere - I'm not. But I've decided that as I finish up the remaining half-dozen scarf orders and start focusing on design work, I want to be able to blog about that publicly and not on some obscure knitting filter on LJ. Soooo I'd like to introduce atypicallyknit! Not much there at the moment, and I'm gonna make myself do a snazzy template before I really start posting, but the RSS feed is all existing and stuff. I'm back to work on the Hermione mittens (Hermittens XD) for truesalcove because I actually got some stills off the DVD, and on Tuesday I charted Ron's animal cracker hat and the twins' hats. Hopefully I'll be able to finish up the Quidsock pattern in the next week or so too. I was talking with Jon about this last night and I'm so so so excited now - we started talking about getting permission to self-publish a book and I'm all twittery now. yay!
Also, I got two more grades - Costuming and Media, A and B+, respectively. Hellooooo second-best semester ever!
And now I'm off to run more errands - buying smilie117's present, cards, food, cleaning. Yay Christmas!
