so much time, so little to do. (strike that. reverse it.)
Fuckin' a, I'm done with classes and I'm still woefully behind where LJ in concerned.
My grades for the semester are posting really slowly for no apparent reason. The only one I know is Makeup, which was an A, which was what I was expecting. Costuming should be A-ish as well (maybe A-, I sucked once we hit the drawing-y part of the course >_<), Media can't be lower than a B+ (I skipped a few little assignments but my project kicked ass, and she told us straight out that she grades really soft), and I'll pitch a fit if Web Programming isn't an A (I went into the pitifully easy final with over a 100% average). It feels so, so damn good. XD
Pixies... were excellent. (Sorry, atomic_robot, but it's true. :p) So were TV On The Radio. We were at the front of the second mezz and just completely blown away. It was unreal.
ummmmm um um. We saw ESB at the Telephone Bar last Tuesday night, which between the hot cider with rum and the veggie shepherd's pie and the good company, was good times indeed. Headed back for RotJ this week with ursamajr and hopefully Weasley prof from Makeup (O:D). I'd drag thegreycoin too, but she's made it perfectly clear that she no longer loves those of us who are enslaved to NYU. meanie.
I've been on the verge of forgiving the Stitch 'n Bitch phenomenon because (IMNSHO anyway) SnB Nation is about 198798646463546879 times less obnoxious than its predecessor. The patterns are actually fairly cute/cool/interesting/unusual/for things that actually necessitate patterns, for starters, and the beginning of the book explains design and pattern adaptation instead of misdefining a make 1. (bitch bitch, moan moan.) Adri bought a copy a few weeks ago and after poring over it Thursday night, I got her to copy the cabled wristwarmer pattern (what can I say, it uses Kureyon!) for me. Friday, I picked up two skeins of Silk Garden #50 (yay store credit!), and I've spent the entire weekend...
...knitting and ripping and knitting and ripping and knitting and ripping as I encounter more and more errors in the pattern. >_____________String with ivete in lieu of sitting at a desk downtown. Any and all visits would be hot, mostly because I'll need someone to restrain me from spending every last cent on yarn. Yay yay yay yarn!
ahahaha 4.30am? maybe I should go to bed. because maybe I'll need my energy tomorrow night for MTV's Razorlight show! *crosses all fingers and toes and hopes to make the cut with the stupid friggin' casting people XP*
