(no subject)
This past week at work has been hellish. Throughout this week WBRU had been giving away DMB tickets for tweeter center concert the 9th and 10th. You had to hear 2 DMB songs in a row and be the 95th caller. I had tirelessly tried every day, 93, 92, 96, 94, 91...I finally get the 95th caller and then I'm forced to hang up before I can tell them who I am -- well the phone was taken for me and hung up. So I didnt have a chance to see DMB. Now, CAKE is playing at Lupos july 19th, and I really want to see them, cause I know almost all of their bassists riffs and method of playing. But I'm working that night, I should try to switch, but then everyone will bitch and not do me the favor. Next, I got my sched. today a well well, I see I'm working now 4-closing all week except wednesday (a very lousy day for a day off) which means I gotta work Friday and its just happens to be my birthday. FUCK! I'm always getting screwed with this nonsense, and I cant switch on friday cause everyone has to work on fri and sat cause they are the toughest of the week. Will anything look out to be positive for me, or will it always be negative? Life does suck. Anyway, tomorrow and wednesday I'm not working so if someone wants to do something, IM me or drop me a line.
