I am approaching the end of my Charmed-watch, and have been thinking about the mid-season 7 episodes that brought to a climax the arc of the Avatars.

I was reading the Making Light entry title "Occupy: Chaotic Good" which brought back my minimal D&D memories. One panel I attended today was on story-telling. It was hosted by writers, story podcasters (both those who write stories for podcasts and those who read other people's stories for podcasts. What's the difference? Not much really, at least in my writing process. My problem with both lies in the necessity of placing my characters (and their respective body parts) physically in a scene.

I used to describe my stories as unfolding in my head like a movie playing. And they do, to some extent though it's really more like radio drama. I hear ( Read more... )
