Everything is progressing.
I have been shuffling boxes and bins all week-- packing at night, loading the car in the morning, working all (most of) the day, shifting boxes and bins up the stairs to the new place after work, unpacking some, stowing others, taking back the empties to the old place, packing, collapsing.
I am almost afraid the movers will be disappointed there is less stuff than advertised. Then again, if it's 100 degrees again, they should be relieved.
#2 is registered for school. I have met and spoken with almost all of his teachers, signed up for PTA, volunteered him for the school play (sorry, #2! But it's a great way to meet people!)
Tomorrow morning I go to see a real head doctor rather than a counselor. Maybe I can get these mood swings leveled out for the interim.
R has shifted the move earlier (at my request) and is bringing #1 to help. I am thrilled at that prospect, although I really need to get #2's mattress ordered tout suite now so everyone has a place to sleep. R is determined to shift most of my remaining furniture in his pick-up, which I am picturing as the move of the Beverly Hillbillies with chairs and bikes precariously balanced on top of the cab (dating myself a bit there....)
I need to get to work. Much remains to be done, but luckily it is light at work right now and mostly computer stuff. Fingers crossed everyone. I hope to be back to 'normal' next week, with unpacking and catching up on B5 via DVD. Since I have no idea how well self-installation of cable/internet will go Netflix binging may be light. Although even with the hair-raising privacy issues I am enjoying leeching off xfinity hotspots for my internet.
