36773. Which is totally awesome and what's more, I filled in the gap! We're onto uncharted territory now (well, a very basic outline exists, large parts of which are doomed to be dropped) and I'm fighting the impulse to re-write bits of the climax scene (#1) to fit with what I wrote in the gap. Climax scene(#2) remains to be written.
Mind the gap! But don't edit the bridge that comes next (is that like burning your bridges? Not burning your bridges?)
OK, so I don't have 13 more days cause there are two full days of travel to WV back and forth for Thanksgiving. I have idle plans to write in the car but there's motion sickness so I don't know. Then there are 1 1/2 days of travel and interviewing which is the 29th and 30th. I think, they haven't actually gotten back to me. I think they are nuts; airfares are ridiculous that week. But whatever. I might not be TOTALLY too nervous to write the 29th after arriving in Denver but the 30th is a wash (all day interview) unless I write on the plane on return trip.
That's the ticket..plane-writing. Hey, how does that time zone thing work? Will I have more time or less time if I spend the last two days of nano traveling from MST to EST?? I lose time, don't I? *gloom*
Actually my plan is to be done with it sooner, have my count verified, by the 27th at the latest, then continue to end of novel. Rocks fall, everybody dies. The End.
I hate that I will miss my local library's wrap-up party on the 30th, I do. But needs must. I did find a write-in in WV. Hee. What will my family think?
Today's agenda:
Book Talk at middle school. I am a Book Talk Group Discussion Leader. Woo hoo.
Online quiz for special education class, module 5. Due Sunday but I'm trying to work ahead.
Possible work things for consulting, depends on what comes up.
Figure out how to record narration of slide show presentation for online class using Office Mix or Jing
Put together slide show from fact sheet presentation already submitted and graded (25/25! Go me!)
I like being busy, and not crazy insane can't-do-it-all busy. Wish I could keep this schedule for the rest of my life.
