best laid plans
I wanted to get down my opinion of Capaldi, but instead I have to leave and take #1 to his Renn Faire job, then head into work myself. So, an abbreviated version:
Capaldi: good though more in personality and acting ability than the writing
Coleman: not so good and what is with her intense fear of grey hair? Listen to Jenny, woman! Love (or like) alters not when it alteration finds.
Jenny and Strax: uniformly good
Vastra: uneven though very good at times
Moffat: annoying and blew right by the emotional peak of the episode (more later)
