Why don't you let it be your would-be new driver's responsibility to find out if he needs an appointment to take the test. And when he does find out, you can figure out when you'll have time to take him. Relax. It can wait. There are only so many hours in the day, etc.
It's Poem in Your Pocket day at the elementary school. I forgot about it. Another black mark in the maternal ledger.
Was that a homework assignment? I know he's a little scattered but really, isn't it his responsibility to remember his homework assignments?
#1 will probably have to wait to take the test although as it turns out appointments are optional. Called me from home sick as a dog this afternoon. I did curb the impulse to rush home ;) He is 16, I keep telling myself.
#2 was blase about his lack of poem and just wrote one himself on the bus. It apparently impressed his 16 year old brother so it must be a corker. Can't wait to read it.
I am my own worst enemy, it's true. Working late tonight, sigh. R won't be back until Saturday night as FIL was hospitalized briefly with a UTI. But after this weekend the big move will be accomplished. And it's only 10 days till #2 and I leave for Florida...
