Off to WV

It's that special time of year...the gap between school and camp. I'm attempting to bring all four of my parent's grandchildren under one roof. Still might not work as the eldest teen might not play along. The step-grandchildren will be there too, All Together Now.

My phone is irreparable and I don't know quite what I'm going to do. Work with speakerphone and Bluetooth for a while. Maybe revert to my old phone which still works. I'm sick of US cellular phone companies.

I bought a Nook. A baby step into tablet-land. Enjoying it immensely.

Finally bit the bullet and subscribed to two newspapers and a couple of magazines. I have to start paying where I can. Though I did take the educational discount for the Times. The free press isn't, can't be, really free. I have found I read more deeply on the tablet. Reading is different depending on the means of access. Not a unique thought, but interesting to experience.

Still haven't finished packing. It's been a long day. Did the clean out of #2's room, which had become a bit of a pit over the school year. Pulled a muscle swimming yesterday so it was a painful process. Culling books and stuffed animals and toys is pretty painful all by itself. But done now.

Re-watching S1 (now S2) of Charmed. Fun. Enjoying Longmire and Warehouse 13 and Primeval: New World. Nice to see Zane (Eureka) again. Writing a little.

Off to bed after I move some audio books to my clip for the drive.I finished my Austen set mostly while exercising, some while injecting at work. Listening to Kidnapped right now. I have a bunch of Dickens on audio but found it difficult to exercise to. Stevenson is better. Dickens is dense, man. Lots of language in that man's work.
