music and flirting

Jul 14, 2012 22:24

We are all sunburnt and tired, having spent a few hours at the Annapolis Irish Festival today. I heard Icewagon Flu and Scythian, as well as Barleyjuice. Purchased Welsh cookies from The Infamous Welsh Cookie Co. which I hadn't seen since leaving Ohio. That was where the flirting came in; one cute fella selling cookies there. #1 is sporting an Irish soccer jersey and I have CDs. #2 has a Irish duck. He collects those little plastic ducks, you see.

It poured rain in the morning, but cleared off for the rest of the day. I got caught in the rain at the Farmers's Market this morning--just picked up the CSA stuff and fled. We got a small white eggplant, cucumbers (so nice to see them unwaxed!), peppers, a watermelon, an onion, some small leeks, tomatoes, corn, apricots, honey wheat bread and a dozen eggs. I have to think of a way to use up some eggs. I have some roasted peppers and I thinking a chile relleno casserole I found online. You wouldn't think it was necessary but I still have to go to the grocery store this weekend. No milk at the market. That and a stint at work makes up Sunday.

Have some of the boys in the band playing the fool. I'm watching Clash of the Titans and drinking WV cherry wine. Happy Saturday.
