one...more...day (personal update)
I'm busier than a one-armed paper hanger, as my father used to say.
Finished the pictorial parts of my posts for next Sunday's B5 re-watch. At least for the first two episodes. I want to sit and watch all three all the way thru. I've just skimmed the first two and read the script for the last one. *sigh* Where is my fragging time-winder?? I have no verbiage down in pixels, and need to remedy that tout suite. I put the pix up on LJ's scrapbook thingie so I'd have them on hand to post. DW seems to not have any internal pic hosting function, and I don't have anything else. Not taking the big laptop, which has all my snaps and caps. I could put them on a key...probably should. I work in the Department of Redundancy Department.
Why are there differences in the screening schedules/posting schedules for Season 5 of the re-watch? I suppose this is some JMS-sanctioned order I was unaware of. Interesting. Puts all the teep stuff together.
Did a preliminary budget for the trip...and it's not pretty. I may be paying on this till Christmas, even with work picking up the parts relevant to my attending the course. Still, it's like buying memories, and carving time together out of the structure of our lives. I get kinda sappy-happy thinking about it.
I won't be posting Sisters (the cracky story) until July because it has to go up in parts and lately I find posting almost as onerous as writing. All the ideas fizzing around my head are sputtering out in the rush of life. I have a couple of memes to post, so there's that. But I'm not sure about time...always with the time.
I hope I see a seal. Whales for the boys and R, seals and puffins for me. *fingers crossed* Sunrise over the ocean. Sunrise on a mountain-top scarred by glaciers down to the essential rock sprinkled with lichens all colors and textures.
Have to clean out the DVR before I go. The last minute chores of a geek. Good-bye all those Criminal Minds! Watch last night's Sanctuary!
Work will be incredibly busy today, all the last minute stuff. My assistant is out for jury duty so I'm on my own. Some unpleasantness looming with an unhappy client, but hoping I can just hide in the facility and get all that needs done, done. Then I am OUT OF THERE.
