A Week in the Life: Monday
Today's Instagram filter is Earlybird.
A shorter post today! Newsflash: working is boring.
I am working late hours this week, 1pm to 9pm, so I got up and went to the Y to do my circuit training (which sounds impressive, but isn't actually - I am a weakling!)
Then I went to McDonald's. It's not as bad as it sounds! I only got a Diet Coke, they just have them cheaper than anywhere else.
I love this filter, it makes it look like I went to McDonald's in 1968. Also, say what you will about American culture, I love our Drive-Thrus! The best is the pharmacy drive thru, because the last thing you want to do when you're sick is get in and out of the car a million times. Oh, and the lady in the car in front of me was a nimrod; the guy working the window had to yell at her to move up so I could get my order, and there were five or six cars behind me. Use your head, lady. >:|
I came home and went to work.
See that giant Coke? That cost me $1.07. It was worth the tempting smell of McDonald's fries (which I did NOT eat) for that.
Later, I watched the Vampire Diaries while the IT guy at work tried to figure out why my new modem suddenly hates my work computer.
I stopped work early to go to tennis practice, where I took no photos. Too busy playing tennis! Plus I just forgot about it once I was there.
Afterward, I went grocery shopping.
Favorite photo of the day - I like the lines of it, and the way the floor sort of becomes the negative space.
I also picked up my meal service, which I've cut back to one meal a day. I'm always one of the last ones to pick up on Mondays, and my food looks lonely and forlorn by the time I get there.
Then I came home, and put everything away.
And that was my day! Much less exciting than the weekend, but more tiring.
