Waiting, Watching, Wishing for Something to Happen
1) I'm getting antsy for my Yuletide Fic Exchange assignment!!! I can't wait to see what my writing choices are!
2) I finished the first of the Holiday gifts this morning. I still have 90 yds of yarn on the skein, but that's not enough for another scarf/neckwarmer. I'm regretting not bringing the beginnings of the next knitted gift. In the office 'til 6.
3) Rehearsals for The Giver begin on Tuesday and the producer hasn't e-mailed us the PDF sheetmusic yet. I hope he doesn't give it to us for the first time at the first rehearsal. That would suck.
4) I'm trying to pin down a time to spend time with the guy friend I told you about a bit ago. I know that it's irrational and it won't change anything (I've worked so hard to learn that it's not my appearance, but my personality that should matter to me), but part of me is kinda excited that he'll see me now that I'm so thin. The little-girl-still-believes-farytales part of me thinks that he will finally see me as a possible romantic partner now that I've adapted to societal dictates of desirability.
Fucked up, right?
Anyway... The first person who can tell me where the title of this post came from will get the knitted accessory of their choice!
