Much to do
I started the list of things I have to do before this Saturday.
You guys?... it's a lot.
One thing that I am very much looking forward to is having a play date with one of my favorite director/vocal coaches in the world! Mr. Michael Larsen!
We met when I first turned pro at 16 and, though we never had the luck to work with eachother directly, we always wanted to. I have so much professional and personal respect for Michael. I can't wait to give him a hug :)
I also need to print up a few headshots and update my resume (neither of which have been done in more years than I'd like to count).
All in preperation for the workshop next Wednesday night.
I've already chosen my 2 songs. I can sing both in my sleep and still knock them out of the ballpark, so it's good audition material.
Mike and I are just going to brush up some of the emotion and intent with the numbers to keep it nice and sparkly :)
Oh, and something went wrong with the fudge yesterday.
I think that my candy thermometer may have finally broken. The fudge refuses to completely set, leading me to believe that the mixture never reached a full 238 degrees F.
I now have a delicious pumpkin-walnut concoction with the consistency of cake frosting.
Hmmm.
