Menu at the Bourbon House

A very delayed entry! I meant to post up the pictures from the engagement dinner much earlier but it didn't happen.
So without further delay here it is...

Bourbon milk punch and Abita's root beer



oyster trio: baked oyster Rockefeller [not show], Bienville, and Fonseca and fried eggplant fingers with house made cocktail sauce



crabcakes



oysters on a half shell



fried calamari with a chipotle aioli



corn and crab bisque: sweet corn in a creamy Louisiana blue crab bisque
This bisque was a serious fail... Campbell's could do better.



spinach salad with pecans, red onion, and molasses vinaigrette



jumbo gulf shrimp with an Abita beer and rosemary barbecue sauce, served with seasonal vegetables and garlic sour cream potatoes



deviled stuffed redfish: redfish fillet topped with Louisiana blue crab stuffing, brown butter, served with seasonal vegetables and garlic sour cream potatoes



chocolate chunk bread pudding: milk and dark chocolate, bourbon sauce
This was also another EPIC FAIL! Hard as a rock!



crème brûlée
Once again...another failure as it was slightly overcooked.



new roads pecan pie: local pecans, vanilla bean gelato, caramel sauce, praline
Finally a really good dessert only I was too full by this time to eat it.
