The Great Late Skate at Eight Date Mate!
I just had the time of my life at RUF's Eighties' Roller Skating party! From 8 til 10:30 I danced the night away, and I only fell three times - once while trying to do the limbo, once when somebody grabbed my hand, and once while trying to hold onto the guy in front of me while forming a train. It was sooooo much fun!!!!! I looked hideously eighties - a blue dress with big sleeves and red, orange, and yellow polka-dots, a yellow blazer, red tights, white scrunchie socks, and poofy hair with a red bow made out of netting. It don't get better than that :)
So, a certain someone asked me to dance tonight...may I say, WAHOOEE!!!!!!!!!!! He taught me how to skate dance, which is when the guy skates backwards and the girl skates forwards while holding hands. Awwwww... It was really, really fun, despite our collective lack of balance. It's been a dang long time since a guy has asked me to dance, so that was awesome. Needless to say, I don't plan to get any sleep tonight because I'm so happy right now that I don't think I could :) *sigh of contentment*
