Wow
I AM SO MONSTROUSLY EXCITED RIGHT NOW! My team won one of the top two spots at the Honors College Ventures Trip shindig today, which means we're going to New Orleans in November to present to a national Honors College Convention. WAHOOEE! I wanted this soooo bad, but I didn't want to get my hopes up or anything, because there were so many other awesome groups. I was convinced that Roun and Rip's group was going to win the A group because their presentation was really, really good. They were so organized and connected with the (whoa small) audience very well. To say the least, I was mucho surprised and incredibly excited. I can't take the credit on this one - it was all God. I had no idea how to take such vastly different experiences and make it a cohesive whole, but it's like God just told me what to do. I'm sitting there with Will and Mindy trying to come up with something, when I hear myself mutter something about concentric circles of communities, like an onion. Who but God would give me the image of an onion? I just want whoever is reading this to understand that this is all to the glory of God, because if He hadn't given me that onion idea, we would have flopped. Not just flopped, belly flopped. Hard.
