See, now your problem here is it's always going to be a Lexus, not that I have anything in particular against them, but, well, it's a Lexus, however, for less, you could be the owner of one of these babies...

And at a top speed of around 155mph and 0-60 in less than 5 seconds, you could!

So the same performance as a Subaru WRX, then? Of course, I hate to admit it, but the Mercedes looks better than my Subie.

Is it AWD?

If I were really going to go all out, I'd get an Aston Martin :)

I can't even afford to drive this car if I won it though. My insurance would freaking skyrocket.

Mmmm, Astons are sweet, particularly the DB7, but the differnece in pricetag is astounding, and all irrelivant as I can't even afford to run 'a' car, let alone a nice one. :)

Hehe, they are very differnet cars tho' and the Subaru WRX aint a bad tourer, baring in mind that the best tourer of all is banned in the US, the Nissan Skyline. The Japs do love their all powererful cars, particlularly when you can plug in your laptop and have some real fun! :)

Was kinda funny actually, had the pleasure of doing 160 in a Nissan Primera a year or so ago and it just felt so smooth, so not like 160. Do that in a roadster and you know you're going top speed.

AWD?

Why is the Skyline banned in the US, anyway? I've been futzing with one in Gran Turismo 4, and have often wondered why it isn't available in the States.

AWD = all-wheel drive.

Well, if you have heard of 'drifters' then you probably know half the story. In short, like most cars today, the Skyline is largely controlled by onboard computer, but in the skyline it really is just about everything, and to make things better, or worse, they made it rather easy to hack into ( ... )

Also, Skylines don't even approach emissions here.

After a bit more research it seems they can be taken up to 1300BHP (measured on a DYNO)... like I said, outragious :P
