Post-Surgery Update
Attention All:
SURGERY WENT GREAT! Actually, according to the surgeon, it went "better than expected." It was supposed to be a 4 hour surgery, but apparently there was no blood or anything, so it was only 3.5 hours. I walked into the operating room and started crying because I was like "what did i get myself in to?" and then when the lady put the IV in me, I started crying even harder and my surgeon had to hold my hand. I took my blankie into surgery with me, and I dunno where it was during surgery, but it ended up in my lap when I woke up, so it was OK. As of right now, I'm not going to school next week, and they are a little sore, but really itchy-which means they're healing, but I can't scratch them because it hurts. I've been sleeping a lot because, well, sleep heals, and I've been taking my painkillers and antibiotic as prescribed. Yes, you guys can come over and see me, if you want, just call first! Thank you everybody for your support-and yes, they do look AMAZING!
