YAY! ok so - :)

1) I didn't really mind the fact that Dumbledore didn't confront the Dursleys, But I would have liked to see them. What I was really annoyed about was the waitress. I mean where the hell did that come from??
2)Hmmm I don't remember the movie mentioning it, but you're right, that is stupid.
3) Ugh I know! This had me furious! All we got was a "sweetheart?" to indicate anything. I was soo looking forewards to some drama there. And since when did the Burrow get burned hmm? And really, Ginny just rushes after him? I was just glad we got see Bellatrix there (someone from my school was tehre wearing a Bella dress and it was great cause her hair was perfect! I was so jealous lol)
4) eh I suppose they're letting the fact that he killed Dumbledore show he's "evil"? But yeah I sort of agree.
5) Well I took it that he had it, and the movie has some creative liberty to do that. It works out fine eitehr way.
6) Yes major problem here! The attack by Greyback would have been a good add. And I mean seriously, they're just going to randomly throw a wedding at us in the next movie??
7) Yup I just completely agree on this point. Same with number 8.

9) Definately liked the opening! and the hourglass. Though I didn't catch what he said it does?
11) I was kinda annoyed that abiut the Burrow attack, but it did have some good elements. Like I said, I was glad to see Bella more, and I liked Arthur talking to Harry (lol did you see all his phones?:) IDK but I always picture him as very sweet when I see him in the movie)
15) Ick no way I have to completely disagree! I *am* a romantic and I absolutely hated that scene. It was just...I don't think cheesy is the right word but I really didn't like it. I would have prefered Her rushing to him and him suddenly kissing her in the common room. I just didn;t get their story line at all the way it was done.

The two Tom Riddles were extremely creepy and the older one was a good match for the younger in my opinion.
I would have liked to see Neville and Luna more in the movie.
And I was furious that Malfoy never talked to Myrtle.

But still awesoem to see!
Favorite part! When harry was all goofy on the liquid luck and was talkingabout the spiders and their pincers!LOL!

1) Since they did change it, I think the waitress was used to show the fact that he has spent a LOT of his time down there, since she obviously knew him. I dislike that he had a wizarding paper in sight of the muggles though.
2) It's the potion they make in the first class. Using the HPB's book, he wins he felix felicis
3) In book five, only Mrs. Weasley knows/suspects Tonk's "problems" with Lupin, for he doesn't want to marry her due to the lycanthropy. I believe the whole Ginny-running-after-Harry thing, because she's had feeling for him for forever, but in the past year (like during DA meetings) they've developed more into true love vs. a childhood crush.
4) Well yes, he killed him, but the look on his face, and the fact he protected Harry, showed him to not be so evil.
5) Yes, but the fact it was never known if he did have it gave the character more, for want of a better term, leeway. He never wanted to go to the dark side, he just had too, but he wasn't "into it" like many other Death Eaters. (In fact, I'm not convinced the Malfoys (especially Narscissa) liked being Death Eaters. Lucius Malfoy is just power-hungry, and being a Death Eater provided that power; he wasn't a psychopath like Bellatrix. Narscissa is actually my favorite non-major female character!)
6) Yeah, I know, GAH! I have a feeling it might be one of the deleted scenes, we'll see! I hope it is. However, if they word it the right way they can get away with it in DH1, something like "Harry: 'I didn't know Bill and Fluer we're going out, let alone engaged!' Ron: 'Oh yeah, but what all the You-Know-Who stuff, I guess I forgot to mention it.'" Hopefully they will do a better job than I just did :)
7) The funeral scene would have been sweet. They really should have done it. They better have some, I don't know, Summer School course of something for apperating!!!

9) Loved the opening. It annoyed me that that wasn't dealt with in the last movie, but I'm okay with the slight rearranging of it. I'm curious if they filmed that scene when they filmed 5, or when they filmed 6.
10) The hourglass - the sand speeds up if the conversation is boring/isn't going anywhere, and slows/stops when the conversation is meaningful/important/thought provoking.
11) I LOVED Arthur's workshop! Did you see the old Vacuum cleaners? The kind that the bag would inflate when you turned it on; well, Arthur had them inflating and deflating like breathing lungs! And all the plugs, loved that! Arthur is very sweet guy, in the movies and the books, and is - aside from Lupin, slightly - the only father figure he has; yes, there's Sirius, but Sirius was too immature to be a good parental role model. To Arthur, Harry is like another one of his sons.
15) Yes, but with the whole Ron/Lavender scene in the common room, it would have seemed like a teen-orgy! I like the whole her-helping-him thing, and it was still sorta spontaneous! Plus, it was established that Ginny was snogging people in public (a lot) so it was good to show that she wasn't just some, for want of a better term, slut who would snog people left-right-and-center without any care for those around.

The Riddles were fantastic! The actor who played the 11 year-old (the orphanage) Tom is actually the nephew of the actor who plays Lord Voldemort, and was hired due to his resemblance.

Well, we did a bit extra Luna, since she found him on the train... though I would have preferred it to be Tonks. And Nevile was in the background of many scenes, even though he only had two lines! Honestly, they don't play all that big of a role in the books anyways, so... They fight in the battle, but they cut that anyways...

I know, they so should have had Myrtle there!!! They were in the bathroom, it wouldn't have been hard to add!

I loved how Harry was basically "high on luck"! It was just fantastic! But the pincer thing was just brilliant! It reminded me of Rodney (SGA) getting the arrow pulled out his ass :D I just love how, well, cocky Harry is on the liquid luck :D

1) meh, I justthought it felt weird.
2) yeah I remember the seen I just didn't catch what he said when he was talking baout the potions at first.
3) I know she'd run after him because she's fallen for him, but I just thought it was rather foolish. That if *she* ran afte him, some otehrs qould have as well. I thought it was a rather... eh cliche way to show their feelings.
4) Yes I do agree there. Did we get a description of the look on his face in teh book? o dont think so right? but i know Alan Rickman has known for a while now about Snape's story line in the last book.
5) Eh, I don't think it really did. I mean, even if he didn't have the mark, he was still doing *something* and i think it can be assumed it has to do with his dad/voldemort. But no, i don't think they really liked being death eaters either. Yeah, i love reading fics about the black sisters.
6) Yeah, I mean they had Bill casted and i was reading some things where they said osmething about his scenes i believe. I hope it is too. lol, yeah if they word it right i *may* forgive the,. humph.

9) Wait, i'm sorry which scene do you mean? cause i was thinking teh whole bit with the bridge falling and things and if thats so i really dont think that would have been in the beginnning of teh fifth...
10) ah thank you!
11) aw did he really? nah i missed that. cool though! Yeah, it is nice to see Arthur as a ftehr figure for harry. thats one thing i always wanted more of in the books - Hermiones parents. Or some sweet scenes between Molly and her you know?
15) Hmm yeah ok I wouldn'thave done another scene like the Ron/Lavender one *shudders* But really, like the scene with the girl at the begining i just didnt get it, it felt weird. i dont know how to explain it. Really, Ginny was only snogging one person in public.

They were! yeah i knew that. personally i didn't see the resemblence really, and i mean, crrepy noselss voldemort to little kid? but it was nice they did use him, and like i said he was great!

Ugh! i wouldhave preferred tonks too! and were they leading us to believe wrackspurts were real? not that we ever didnt know for sure they weren';t, i know.
but yeah, neville and luna...
thats just what i dont get. They are at the ministry, and are the leaders of the school resistance in the last book, i dont know why we just couldn't get more of them in teh sixth part.
and yeah! i wanted that battle!!!

no it wouldnt have been :( i liekd the emorion we got, but it would have been geat to just have myrtle show up too. can you believe that actress is like in her thrities?

haha i can see the connection.

1) Yeah, it was a bit odd, but it could have been a lot odder, if that makes sense?
2) Ah, ok
3) Yeah, it did seem a bit odd. I would think the adults would run after her right away. I mean, she got through the flames. But maybe only underage witches and wizards could get through it until they banished it, or something?
4) Page 595, HBP hardcover (end of "The Lightning-Struck Tower"): "Snape gazed for a moment at Dumbledore, and there was reservation and hatred etched in the harsh lines of his face." So, yes, it is described. In the movie his face looks regretful, not full of hatred.
5) Yes, he was doing something, but he hadn't yet "joined" Voldemort. I think he didn't yet have it, but would have been given it had he succeeded in killing Dumbledore.
6) Alright, I looked this one up. I don't mind spoilers personally. For me, seeing the "in progress/behind the scenes" pictures gets me more excited, and makes the final movie even cooler becasue I get to see the final product, the CGI and stuff, compared to the raw product. I'm into all the behind the scenes/how it's done stuff with film - almost more than the film! This is a picture of the actor who plays Bill Weasley from the set while filming the "Shell Cottage" scenes. It will answer the question. (I don't want to say it flat out, in case you don't want to be spoiled!)

9) I mean the opening scene. The one where the press is surrounding Harry and Dumbledore at the Ministry of Magic. The bridge thing was cool though; however, that bridge wasn't built yet during the years HP takes place. Also, side fact, when they first opened the Millennium Bridge, it did sway a lot (not quite as much as that, but a lot for a bridge!) which might be the reason they chose to use that bridge.
10) No problem :)
11) Yeah, the only time we actually "see" Hermione's parents is in the books (though they're mentioned other times) is in CoS, where they meet the Weasley's at Gringotts. Supposedly, they'll be in the 7th film, but I don't know... maybe they'll show the scene with Hermione talking to her parents and sending them to Australia?
15) Yeah, she did only snog Dean in public, but they didn't want it to seem like all the Gryffindor girls aren't modest... plus, Ron is protective over Ginny and it would have made for an awkward relationship between Harry and him; one that would have taken too much time to deal with in the film.

They have a simmilar underlying facial structure.

Yeah, it does make her seem slightly less wacko...

I think they just didn't have much time for that. They're not even in the sixth book all that much either.

I do wish they had kept the battle in, for that's what, in my opinion, really makes harry want to leave Hogwarts. Yes, Dumbledore's death contributes, but the fact that his friends get hurt fighting "because of him" really impacts him as well!

She's actually almost 44. She has a really young face though, so it works. Plus she's short. She was in an episode of Doctor Who as well, she played a young woman in that. She can pull off being young well, in my opinion. The actual age of the actor/actress doesn't bother me, as long as it looks believable!

3) Thats a very interesting thought! Not surprised you thought of it.
4) Ah. Hmmm. That's an interesting difference to make.
6) Yeah I've seen that picture! (I LOVE spoilers lol) And right, so he has the scars.

9) Oh! Rigt! I can't believe i forgot how it started. Cause I thought that was interesting too. Yeah, I wonder if that was filmed before too.
swaying bridegs give me the creeps. I watched a video of one that was lterally twisting and then fell in physics but i can't remember the name.
11) Yes, I'm hoping they show Hermione senidng them to Australia. And considering in the books we only get stuff that isn't Harry's pov in the beginning of the book, but we get pov of other people in the movie throughout (with Draco this movie at least), I'd really like to see some of the Hogwarts resistance, like the scene where the three try to steal Gryffindor's sword.
15) I do agree that it would have been hard for them to put in a tension on Ron and Harry's relationship. Just wish it had been done differelty. Meh.

You think so? I think Harry thinks that way too much throughout. I think he starts more to think so in the fifth book.

Ah, hadn't looked it up in a while. I think its brilliant she can do that! Yes, i saw she was in an ep. I started to watch that series, but ive only made it through about half of the first season.

3) And what's that supposed to mean! *overly-dramatic and totally-fake "huff"*
4) Yes, it was. However, Alan Rickman (the actor) hasn't read any of the books, shocking, I know! He has has many lengthy discussion with J. K. though, and he was in fact, apart from her husband, the first/only person to know about Snape background until book 7 came out. He does it, he says, so that he can better do what the director wants, and what is portrayed in the script without being influenced by another source. I can appreciate that, for if he did read the books, it would be hard to do anything other than what the books say, even if the director wanted you to do so. And, even with that "mistake" (which didn't bother me so much, just a tad, mostly for sake of debate!) he does a BRILLIANT job playing Snape! Seriously, he is fantastic! Hell, he even looks a lot like I picture Snape (although, not quite a "hooked enough" nose... but no matter) but more importantly, far more importantly, his mannerisms are DEAD ON! I don't know if it come naturally to him or not, but every-single-little movement, even lifting a finger, is perfectly thought out and completely "Snape" of him!
6) Yeah... he's no disfigured enough in my opinion... but then again, maybe they have him get injured in another fight or something? Who knows *shurgs*

9) No idea how you forgot ;) But, then again, you did have the right "first scene" if you go by the first after the title of the movie! *lol* The bridge you are thinking of is The Tacoma Narrows Bridge - an yeah, that was an engineering FAIL! BTW, I <3 physics :D
11) Well, it's not Harry's PoV precisely: it's third-person subjective and follows Harry, only (with exception of the beginnings) being conscious or in locations when he is. It's hard to write a book in third-person (without being omniscient) and follow multiple people weather or not they're in that location... it just get confusing and busy! On screen, however, it's much easier to switch around :) (Sorry about the literature terminology lecture...)
15) I think it just ultimately boils down to the time constraints. They had to shove the Ginny/Harry kiss somewhere, so they shoved it into scene where the HBP's book is hidden... plus, I kinda like the little background-plot given: why would Ginny know about the "hiding things" room "in" the room of requirement? What the hell did she need to hide?!

Yes, he does think it, but aside from Cedric, there hasn't been much in the way of underages getting really badly hurt (just Ron at the Ministry, and that was greatly overshadowed by Sirius' fate.) With it happening at the school what was to stop them from say, storming a dorm and killing off all the students there? At the Ministry, all who were there volunteered. Most of those in the castle were defenseless and didn't sign up for the fight. I think that that is the straw that breaks the camel's back, so to speak. If he leaves Hogwarts, apart from being able to track down Horcruxes, he won't be attracting danger to those who don't want it/can't defend themselves!

If you can, keep watching Doctor Who, it's fantastic! I like the second (though, technically the 10th) Doctor better then the first (9th) which is who you would have seen. If nothing else, you MUST watch the episode titled "Blink". It's A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!!!!!! It's wicked creepy, but in a good way. It's like a really fantastic short story, like an Edgar Allan Poe or something. It's a stand-alone, you needn't have ever seen Doctor Who before to appreciate it! *uses the force and Jedi powers* You will go and watch it, you will go an watch it!

3) LOL It's a compliment, honest :) *squeezes*
4) I agree, he definately does a brilliant job! Definately how I pictured too. I'd say the ones who didn't look like I pictured were Ginny (a bit, I guess with her personality I have her hair as more fiery), Moody (who I pictured more like Filch but wuth his eye and all), Peter Pettigrew, and Lupin. But I think they all act great.
9) Ugh I am really forgetful trust me. Ah yes! The Tacoma Bridge! That was one of the more interesting days of Physics, and yet one of the most frustrating because I just didn't understand. It's the only isbject I've ever had real difficulties with. So naturally, I think your crazy for liking it :)
12) Well yes, I think it works much better 'following' Harry through the books. I like the fact that we get to see things that obviously happened but were never described in full detail in the books. And you're right, following too many characters does get too confusing and busy. Yesterday I'd started reading a fic and in teh first chapter there were 9 characters to follow around and I was like woah ok can;t read this.
15) haha what indeed? I finally figured out partly why it bothered me so much! Because in the book, Harry kisses *her* not the otehr way around. Don'tknow why it does bither me, but it just does.

Yeah. I think he really won't let anyone except Ron and Hermione take risks for him (though he probably isnt all that comfortable iwth that either). because he doesn't even like the Order at risk, like when they brought him to the Burrow in the seventh book and they all cam to pair off.

The 10th Doctor was the actor who played Barty Crouch Jr right? I love his energy! LOL episode called "Blink" Got it. :)

3) *hugs back*
4) I think Ginny is good. I agree with the Moody thing (for starters, he has a wooden leg, not metal like they did in the films!) Petigrew is a bit off, his face is too round. I like Lupin though! But then again, I like that actor so maybe I'm bias! :)
9) I love that it explains everything. Plus, it's logical, even if it's hard. Plus, it too is something that was a bit hard for me, and like you, it was the first time I was in a hard class! I was sooooo glad for the challenge! (I get bored wicked easy... if something is a challenge I'm motivated to work on it, other wise I procrastinate big time)
12) Yeah. The best book I've read that follows different people is "My Sisters Keeper". It's first-person, but that person changes each chapter. However, the font also changes with each character which makes it loads easier to keep track! If you haven't read the book, you should. It's sad but really good!
15) Okay, yeah, I can understand that. However, in the movie Harry doesn't know that Ginny has broken up with Dean (I don't think he does anyways) so he doesn't want to go after her while she's still in a relationship! *shrugs*

Yeah, the only reason he let's Ron and Hermione is because he knows he won't be able to convince them otherwise, they're the two people in the world he trusts and most, and he knows their limits and therefore won't ask them to do anything they won't be able to do/will stop them from doing things he knows they can't.

And yes, David Tennet plays both characters :) You seriously need to see that episode. Preferably watch it at night, with the lights out. It's that good! It's perfect creepy/horror without being over the top, and there's no gore. It's all just suspense, but so amazingly well done! I've seen it 7 times, and I still love it!

4) Yeah the first time I saw moody (i think *his* face is too round) i was like hey! what happened to his leg?? His fake leg seemed to Muggle,
9)For some reason ive never needed logic to explain science things. Always in math, but never science. Thats very good that you rise to that challenge!
12) Oh the font changes? That's a cool feature to it. I was thinking about getting it. i'll look next time im at a bookstore then.
15) True. I'd have liked to see more of Dean with Ginny (and by that i mean more than just kissung of course. just talking, or one of those fights in th ebackground you know?)

Yup.And really, he needed Hermione and her smarts :)

Yeah i was looking on imdb after seeing a Dr Who ep on tv and i was like no way he plays Crouch?? and so we popped in the dvd and it was great. i'll *consider* watching it at night if that gives it the best effect. I tend to creep myself out lol.

4) Yep!
9) Logic is awesome. *spock-hand*
12) It's a fantastic book. Sad ending, but really powerful. Be prepared to cry and really feel for all of the characters, because you see everyone's point of view. It's absolutely brilliant and so worth reading.
15) I think it was a time issue, plus they didn't want it to seem like she wasn't into Harry at all, when she had been for forever!

Yeah, Hermione balances it out :)

It really does give it the best affect! Drag a friend over too, it's brilliant!
