I look like an addict...

I got blood drawn yesterday, only needed one tube. It took four sticks to get the needle to stay in the vein. Well, third stick it went into the vein, but it also went out the other side... the fourth stick finally went into the vein (after some "digging") but it as really slow... took three minutes to fill half a tube!

So now I have two needle marks in the crook of my left arm (they don't look too bad since they didn't hit the vein) and one big bruise in the crook of my right arm and one on the back of my hand. Two people tried, and it took heat packs and massaging to get those veins. I'm a hard stick normally, but this was ridiculous!

Then again, I was sick. When I'm sick, my BP is low (because I'm that special! Brownouts and all!) so the veins weren't all the perky to start with. Plus, mine always roll, go flat, whatever, when they see the sight of a needle. Fun stuff -_-

Anyways, in the end, the test came back negative. Which is good and bad:

Bad - means all that stabbing was for nothing
Good - it means my thyroid is happy right now
Bad - we don't know why I've been feeling like crap recently... off of the pediatric rheumatologist we go! (Talk about specialist! And it's not the first time I've had to go to one...) which means more blood work, "fun", here's to hoping I have developed lupus (my mom has it) or something like that (lots of stuff runs in the family)
Good - um, it wasn't my thyroid? Also, It gave some people practice
Bad - I feel like I should make the people who had to get blood from me cookies or something...
Good - um... IDK...

Anyways, I'm still sick *sleeps* and I have class tonight!
