Seriously, if you've ever heard her songs recorded, they're crap compared to live. She is amazing! And she was singing in this really old church, so the acoustics were so nice.

I got a chance to talk to her; I told her that the first place I heard her songs was when I was nine and lived in Kodiak, Alaska. Her songs would play on the one radio station we had (on clear days you could sometimes pick up other stuff, maybe.) She said "No shit?" She's really quite funny, some rather subtle humor, but she had us laughing in between almost every song. And she's really easy going too. My mom was surprised I went up and talked to her, she and my sister are shy in that way, but I've almost always been willing to go up and let my voice be heard... don't know why she was surprised, maybe because she was famous.

I requested "Honeyed Out" and she sang it ^_^ And no, I don't like it because of the curse words :P She said "The next song has some, uh, un-lady-like words in it" and later sang a really nice song, that everyone joined in on (A slightly adapted version of "Everything is Music") and she said "This makes up for cursing in church" :)

They had some munches set out during the intermission. Everything was gluten, so I didn't have any food. I was a bit chilled though, so I got some tea. I'm not normally a tea drinker, and I mainly planed to hold it for the warmth, but I ended up drinking it (it was peach, I love peaches) but I did add like 2-3 tablespoons of honey :P I don't normally drink hot things (I can't stand heat... don't know why) and I don't like the bitterness... but it was pretty yummy tonight for some reason.

Alright, I'm off to bed, I'm exhausted! This is the latest I've stayed up all week!

It's weird, I've been switching to a day schedule in the past month, not consciously, but my body is no longer demanding to stay up until 2-3 AM, 9 is bed time now!

Alright, really going to bed now, night :)
