More crafty things, and PIE!
This Saturday, check out the Simply Raw Festival in Central Park, on Clemow in the Glebe. There'll be food, vendors (including us!), food, presentations, yoga, food, and even a pie contest. I think the coolest part is that Bif Naked is one of the presenters. Can't WAIT to see her. The festival is all day, from 10am to 9pm. If you do go, stop by and say hi!
Got togther with katterry on Friday night at Centrepointe Theatre and saw the Producers. It was hilarious. The music was great, the singing was great, and Mel Brooks of course wrote a hysterical script. The only thing I found a bit weird was the lack of lighting in the front parts of the stage. There were a couple times when actors would walk forwards toward the edge, and I would have expected a spotlight to follow them instead of leaving them backlit and in low light. We were up in the balcony though, so perhaps it looked differently in the floor seats.
