[The first Vision was married to the Scarlet Witch. They wanted children and the Scarlet Witch crafted a pair of twin boys from two lost souls. It turned out that the souls were part of the demon Mephisto, but when he tried to reabsorb them, he was destroyed and the boys were lost.]

[Between the point where he took them from the Scarlet Witch and when he was destroyed, though, the boys took the place of Mephisto's hands.]
