A fitting end to the year?

What a sucky way to end the year. Had to skip going to party, because there's been a very nasty virus doing the rounds of the family, and it wouldn't have been very nice to spread it to our friends. So instead I bought a new DVD player to replace the old broken one, and the kids watched a couple of movies. Now we're all sitting around bored, except
