Two or Three Things I've Learned
1. The 1942 Disney cartoon "Der Fuehrer's Face" not only won an Academy Award, but is also ranked as one of the 50 Greatest Cartoons of All Time.
2. Vladimir Putin wants to be Prime Minister of Russia. Apparently high-ranking KGB official and President weren't enough.
3. Although Danica McKellar (aka "Winnie Cooper" from The Wonder Years) is still an actress, she's also a math genius. She is one of the co-authors of The Chayes-McKellar-Winn Theorem.
4. The 2006 film Stranger Than Fiction, starring Will Ferrell and Maggie Gyllenhaal, borrows heavily from Niebla by Miguel de Unamuno, a Spanish novel about a character who becomes aware he is being narrated by a writer and goes to visit him.
