camden market

decided to explore Camden Market, which encompasses 7 street markets. Positively huge, bigger than any street market in China. Not as cheap, but cheaper than normal retail here. The market seriously has everything you could want -- from furniture to antiques to grammophones, from bamboo saxophones to didgeroos (sp?), from crystal jewelry to custom belts to novelty lightbulbs, all styles of clothing (goth, gypsy, ethnic, stylish, even corsets!), handmade soaps to handcarved wood. It was amazing; wonderfully original and fashionable merchandise.

I suppose it'd be useful.

yo it's Robert's shirt!

looks the same as Chinese street market, except with white people.

awesome shirts! So expensive though.

the market crosses over a canal

even the regular stores on the street are busy and colorful

i really wanted a wall hanging

this dude is skilled

merchandise also includes drug-related stuff! hurray.

Today is the last day you can buy shrooms -- they become illegal tomorrow. So, naturally, there were lots of ads for them today. Though the rumor is that UK shrooms aren't very potent.

HP is definitely not a cult here -- while stock isn't full, finding a copy isn't difficult. I went to Sainsbury's just now (grocery store) and picked up an authentic Brit copy on a whim (£9)!

I haven't even read OotP yet :D Reading must be put off till I go home and check out a copy.
