This is a rather amusing (French-made) video detailing the mission of GLAST. While I think the scientific level was a bit inconsistent (ie, how CsI acts as a gamma detector vs what a gamma ray is), it's still far more attractive than the generally stodgy stuff most US institutions put out (which is one of the principal reasons why I think interest in science is on the decline in the US).

I watched The Legend last night, a Hong Kong import by Dimension of some Jet Li project (executive produced and starring). It was actually pretty decent, with some really good setpieces - one of which involved a fight on top of a crowd (think of the pole-fighting from Iron Monkey, but on heads instead), another underneath a wooden platform with both combatants crouching the whole time. It went on too long and became too serious at the end, but still, far better than most of the HK stuff I've been watching the past few months.

A few months back I remember someone posting a link to an animation made from wall paintings. Turns out it was part of a much longer video.

The truth will be out.
Unless you're a horse lover, the previous one is pretty funny as well.

I didn't watch Saturday morning cartoons (and thus the attendent toy commercials) when I was little, so I'd never heard of these toys until a few weeks ago. It was probably better that way.
