I may have shot myself in the foot by releasing the "Unburied" WIP. On one hand, posting seems to have prodded me to finish it. On the other, it appears that there wasn't that much left to go on it and people may be ticked by the fade to black.
It's a bit different than when you present a finished fic as a fait accompli. In that case, it is what it is. Given an early taste of it, people might have had expectations of where it was going and how it would end up there.
It feels done to me now, but I'm sitting on it for a few days to see if more shows up. The usual.
